Fairy Hugs Flamo and Toadstool

Hi and welcome back to Fairy Hugs!  I am so glad you have joined us today!

I hope that you will take a minute and subscribe to our newsletter so that you are updated on new products and events.  You can do this on the side bar!

I have a fun tag to share in beautiful purples, that features Fairy Hugs, Flamo, Toadstool, Fantasy Flowers and the Moonlight background!

Let's take a quick look!

This tag is a preloaded pattern on my scan and cut which makes it simple to make the perfect size!  I started out stamping the images with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and heat embossed them with clear powder.  I added some Dusty Concord to the edges to make it look like a vignette.  I highlighted the toadstool with white and blue metallic colored pencils to bring this project together.  The ribbon and sentiment stamp are from my stash.   I hope you will give it a try!

Today I wanted to share my latest Fairy Hugs creation...

I un-mount all of my rubber stamps to save room and I have all of these wonderful wood blocks left over. I like to save the larger blocks for art and that's what I've got for you today. A former rubber stamp block upcycled into art!

To create this piece I started off by cutting out various definitions from multiple dictionaries (I collect them), for example - fairy, wish, faith, hope, etc. These were decoupaged onto the block and left to dry.  I sponged Warm Breeze VF Clair ink around the edges of the block.

Once the block was completely dry the Leafy Scrolls, Kissing Fairy and Stardust images were stamped directly onto the block using VersaFine Clair inks. I also stamped an extra set of wings onto a piece of vellum cardstock.

I stamped and fussy cut several Wild Leaves images onto scraps of white cardstock. These leaves were glued to the block as seen. I also affixed the die-cut sentiment to the block at this time.

I colored the vellum wings using alcohol markers and they were then glued in place. A white acrylic paint pen was used to add details and glitter was added to the Star Dust image and the visible edge of the block.

Fairy Hugs Rice Paper on Wood Board

Welcome  to the Fairy Hugs Store Blog. It is me, Liv, and today it is my turn to share my most recent project with you. Please become a follower by signing up in the side bar!  If you would like to get the Fairy Hugs Store newsletter via email with updates please visit the Fairy Hugs Store and sign up using the pop-up Window.

Now this one was fun to experiment with. I had purchased blank rice paper and decided use my Prima Bloom Sprays on it.  Once I did that I stamped on it with Black Pigment Ink and used Embossing Powders to make stand out. For the stamps, I used Moana, Fantasy Flowers, Mini Frog in the background of the stamp-Stream Scene . Since it was Rice paper, just used some decoupage glue. The glue was a glitter glue so added a great touch for the piece.

Hope you all enjoyed this card. Fairy Hugs - Azalea and Happy Moon

Fairy Hugs Store  has their own line of stamps, paper, glitter and stencils!

Today i would love to share Fairy Hugs Azalea sitting on Fairy Hugs - Happy Moon

Making this card was relative easy.  Why?
All i did was stamp the Fairy Hugs Stamp - Happy Moon on the circle and then i stamped Fairy Hugs Stamp - Azalea.  I used some Prismacolor pencils on her wings and on the moon's cheeks.
Next i stamped Fairy Hugs - Fantasy Flowers at the bottom of the card.
I used some corner dies to finish the card.

Fairy Hugs Tarwep Swinging

Hi, Joy here with another fun Fairy Hugs project.  I am so glad you were able to join us today!

I'd love for you to stay in the know, so please subscribe to our newsletter via email on the side bar.  By subscribing you'll notified of special news and events happening in our store!

I've got a cute winter's eve scene with Tarwep, swinging in the moonlight!  This scene features the new Leafy Scrolls stamp set, and the Fairy Swing.  Let's take a quick look together....

To create this card I die cut a circle to form a masked moon.  I then blended Distress Oxide inks in the colors Gathered Twigs, Stormy Sky, and Tumbled glass.  Once I was happy with the blend, I removed the mask and lightly blended Antique Linen over the moon and made clouds with Pumice stone.  I always like to give a list of the inks used, in case you want to recreate a similar project.

The stars of the show of course, are the Fairy Hugs stamps.  I stamped Tarwep, Fairy Swing, and the Leafy Scroll in Versafine Clair Twilight and then heat embossed in clear.  I think the blue ink compliments this scene better than black ink would have.  I then mounted the card panel onto an ivory layer and then a navy card base.  Very simple... but oh so pretty!

Today I wanted to share my latest Fairy Hugs creation...

I love the versatility of the Full Moons and Moon Tree in the most recent release. There are just so many options for using these great images. Today I wanted to share a a card I made pairing these stamps with my favorite color blue!

To create this card I started off by cutting a 6x6 piece of cardstock. I stamped and embossed (with black ep) the larger moon in the center of this panel. Next I sponged the panel with Twilight, Medieval Blue and Blue Belle VersaFine Clair Inks working from dark to light. Next the Moon Tree was stamped around the edge of the panel on all sides. These too were embossed with black embossing powder.

White Shimmer Delicata ink was pounced over the moon and surrounding area to create the glow, the excess ink was wiped off the embossed moon. Diluted white acrylic paint was flicked over the panel to create a starry sky.

This panel was matted on white cardstock and affixed to an 8x8 panel covered with Cobalt/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper from Rinea.

Fairy Hugs-Gel Plate Mixed Media style card.

For the card I decided to go a very mixed media style card.  If you are interested in knowing how this all came together come take a peek at my Youtube channel, https://youtu.be/nRdl7tcM9Es,
ORM CraftyDesigns, for all of the details.  I used my Gel Plate to make the background. The paper is some Black Mixed Media paper I recently purchased to play around with.  Can you tell I have a thing for the Wild Leaves stamp.  I thought the stickles in the wings added a nice touch and then added a sentiment from my stash for the card.

Hope you all enjoyed this card. Be sure to keep checking out the website for all of the new monthly release images on the way.  If you are interested in enjoying more fun with Fairy Hugs, please stop by and join our Facebook Group, Fairy Hugs Store, where you can share your creations.
