Fairy Hugs - Angela at the Fairy Gate

  Hello everyone and Happy Monday!!

Let's see what we can make using Fairy Hugs Store supplies!

I love this Fairy Hugs stamp called Angela!

This was a simple constructed card.  I basically stamped everything on this Fairy Hugs - Fairy Scapes background paper except for Fairy Hugs - Angela.  I stamped Fairy Hugs Angela on another piece of paper with black ink and then i heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
Next i colored in the wings with pencil and gel pen. Then i fussy cut Angela out by hand and foam taped her to the top of the card.  She fits perfectly in the Fairy Hugs -

Fairy Hugs - Serenity with the Stream Scene

Hello and welcome to the Fairy Hugs Store Blog.

Serenity is what many people are looking for so I created this serene scene using one of the Fairy Scape Slimline backgrounds.  Using the Stream Scene, I stamped it off the panel and added the Fairy Bridge in the foreground.  To complete the pathway, I stamped part of the Wooden Walkway.

Assorted Copic Markers and inks added additional color to the background.  Die cutting the panel, I matted it with black cardstock then added it to a white card.  Finally, I added the Heron to the background, as if he is watching over everything.

Today I wanted to share my latest Fairy Hugs creation...

I love making shaker cards and this one seemed perfect for the new sea sentiment.

To create this card I first colored two pieces of cardstock using Distress Oxide inks. The inside panel was inked with Twisted Citron and Salty Ocean, the outside panel was initially inked with Twisted Citron and Mustard Seed.

From there I stamped the sentiment on the inside panel and embossed with black embossing powder. The outside panel was stamped using VersaMark ink and the Rope Net until the panel was covered. It was then embossed with clear embossing ink. Salty Ocean and Peeled Paint were then rubbed over top of the embossing to make the rope image pop.

The center of the rope panel was die-cut, this window was covered with a piece of acetate and the back was joined to the front panel with foam tape after it was filled with shaker bits.

This shaker was then added to a black card base.

Today I wanted to share my latest Fairy Hugs creation...

I love creating cards "off the paper" using different and unusual materials for my backgrounds. I have used Rinea foiled paper which was dipped into Marabu's Easy Marble medium. It's so much fun because the outcome is always a unique surprise. If you haven't tried it you really should.

So after the foiled paper was marbled and dried it was time to start stamping to create this lovely underwater scene. All of the images were stamped using VersaFine Clair ink which was left to dry naturally. The panel was then matted and popped onto the blue card base.

Fairy Hugs - Mermaid Door

Let's see what we can make using Fairy Hugs Store supplies!

I think you can tell, i am in love with the Fairy Hugs - Mermaid door..i've made several cards with this stamp.  You've not even seen them all yet.
This was a lot of fun to make, i made the background paper by stamping Fairy Hugs - Teeny Ocean Icons 49 times.  Then i embossed "spiral shells" with gold embossing powder. Next i ink blended the background.
For the next layer, i used my gel plate and some acrylic paint.  I stamped Fairy Hugs - Wiggles and Fairy Hugs - Rope Net on the plate to remove the paint.  Once that layer was dry i added a cream acrylic paint.  When i lifted the print the jellyfish was cream! Cool, huh?
Stamping on gel prints make the images a bit blurred, but that's ok, i liked the look.  I embossed the stamped images with clear embossing powder.
Next, I stamped the Fairy Hugs - Mermaid door onto a cream watercolor paper, and i heat embossed that with clear embossing powder as well.  Then to add color to the door i used colored pencils and gel pens.
I tore the edges to each layer and added it to a black card base.

Fairy Hugs - Serenity

Hello and welcome to the Fairy Hugs Store Blog.

Today I've used 2 stamp sets to create this card.  Using the Teeny Ocean Set, I repeatedly stamped them on a panel of white cardstock to create a background.  Lining them on one stamp block and reversing how they were stamped created a perfect background against which the beautiful phrase stands out.  Simplicity is sometimes the key!
